The Niles-Brandywine Girls Softball Association is attempting to organize a 17 and over league for this summer.
The 17 and over league seeks to provide women the opportunity to play fast pitch recreational softball.
Games will be played on Sundays only. A doubleheader format will be used and all games will be played at the Fireman's youth park.
Anyone age 17 or older is acceptable to play as long as they have turned 17 as of Jan. 1, 2003.
The cost of the league is $40 per player.
There will be a six-week season starting June 22 and continuing through the end of July.
The league provides team shirts and games will be played according to ASA rules and with ASA umpires.
Anyone interested in playing should contact Carol Mitchell at 687-9205 or email at cmitch1021@aol.com.
Registrations will be accepted at Fireman's Park during the NBGSA draft day on Sunday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to noon.
