ND, MSU survive second round

No. 5 seed Notre Dame upset No. 4 seed Illinois and No. 7 seed Michigan State upset No. 2 seed Florida in the second round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament this past weekend.
Notre Dame advances to mthe West Regional semifinals against No. 1 Arizona while Michigan State will take on No. 6 Maryland in the South Regional semifinals.
No. 2 Kansas and No. 3 Duke will square off in the other West Regional semifinal.
No. 1 Texas and No. 5 Connecticut play in the other South Regional semifinal.
No. 1 Kentucky and No. 5 Wisconsin will play in one semifinal in the Midwest Regional. No. 2 Pittsburgh and No. 3 Marquette square off in the other semifinal.
No. 1 Oklahome and No. 12 Butler will play in one semifinal in the East Regional. No. 3 Syracuse and No. 10 Auburn face each other in the other semifinal.
Notre Dame is in the Sweet 16 for the first time in 16 years while Michigan State is returning to the Sweet 16 for the third time in the last four years.
Notre Dame beat University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee by one point in the first round.
Michigan State beat Colorado in the first round.
Notre Dame's game against Arizona is set for tonight at 7:27 p.m.
Michigan State will tip off against Maryland at approximately 9:57 p.m. Friday night.
All NCAA Tournament games are televised on CBS.
