April Saxton battling through hamstring injury

April and Angela Saxton continue to battle through leg injuries which have hampered their preperations for the outdoor track seasons at Western Michigan University and Hope College repspectively.
Recently April Saxton and the Lady Broncos competed at the Alabama Relays.
Saxton ran 1:05.1 in the 400-meter low hurdles, but had to scratch out of a the 100-meter high hurdles and the shuttle hurdle relay.
Angela Saxton and the Lady Flying Dutchmen had been working out in Pensacola, Fla. in preparation for competition at Emory University in Georgia.
At the Snowbird Invitational at Emory, Saxton ran in the open 400-meters and posted a time of 1:07. She was also a member of the 4×400-meter relay team which was clocked at 4:20.56.
Hope College will officially open its outdoor schedule on April 5 at Albion College where Saxton will meet up with former Chieftain Adam Dohm, who runs for the Britons.
The MIAA meet is scheduled to begin at noon.
Thursday Leasure League
The Thursday Morning Leasure Ladies League will hold their spring meeting on April 10 at the Elks Club Golf Course clubhouse.
Anyone interested in joining the league or getting on the sub list should attend.

The Senior Golf League at the Dowagiac Elks Golf Course will begin on April 29.
