Dowagiac golfers win West jamboree

Coloma’s Logan Berg won the battle, but the Dowagiac golf team won the war.

Berg earned medalist honors at Hampshire Country Club with a 40 at the Wolverine Conference West Division Jamboree Monday.

Dowagiac, led by Christian Hess and Andrew Wild, who both shot 41, won the jamboree with a team total of 171.

Three Rivers finished a stroke back at 172, while Coloma was third with 175 and Edwardsburg fourth with 184.

Edwardsburg’s scores were unavailable at press time.

The West Division is back in action today as it heads to Indian Lake Hills for the Berrien jamboree.
