Edwardsburg girls roll past Rams

The Edwardsburg girls track team opened its season with a 108-17 win over Wolverine Conference West Division foe South Haven Tuesday.

Picking up first place finishes for the Eddies were Kristen Miller in the high jump (4-3), Carlie Cockrum in the long jump (14-11), Taylor Hepler in the 100-meter hurdles (19.08), Jamie Loupee in the 100-meters (13.64), Aubrey Ritchey in the 1,600-meters (5:58.24), Miller in the 400-meters (1:11.00), Olivia Hack in the 300-meter hurdles (55.83), Ritchey in the 800-meters (2:44.00), Olivia Hartline in the 200-meters (28.66) and Hannah Sousley in the 3,200-meters (13:44.00).

Edwardsburg also won the 3,200-meter relay (11:38:00), 800-meter relay (2:04.00), 400-meter relay (57.04) and 1,600-meter relay (4:58.00).

The Rams captured the boys meet 93-44.

Turning in first place effort for the Eddies were Travis Myrick in the discus (101-2), Christian Eggleston in the 110-meter hurdles (18.43) and Skye Roy in the 100-meters (11.03).

Edwardsburg also won the 800-meter relay (1:41.09).
