The Rocketts lived in Vandalia for over 20 years before moving to Rockford, Ill. and Stockbridge, Ga. respectively.

They teamed up to write “Troubled Child,” which is available at Amazon for $6 (book) and $.99 (kindle).

“Troubled Child” chronicles the life of Little Anna, who is taken from her mother and secretly placed into the foster care system. While her grandparents wonder and worry about Anna, they desperately search for the child.

“Her dreams are the only memory of the past where she once felt loved and secure,” the book description at Amazon.com reads. “At the age of 13, she realized the danger her and her two foster sisters are in and must make a choice to protect them.”

Anna sums up the strength and courage to leave her foster family and begin the search for her long, lost family.
