SWM to webcast three games a week

Southwest Michigan Sports will continue its expanded high school football coverage this season.

Southwest Michigan Sports will cover the three local football teams live each week.

Andy Stuver and Bob Burch will be covering the Niles Vikings; Rob Clingaman and Dennis Prenkert will be covering the Brandywine Bobcats; and Steve Adolph and Bill Wentzel will be covering the Buchanan Bucks.

The internet broadcasting company will also continue its weekly Coaches Roundtable Show live at 7 p.m. every Monday

Every game and the Coaches Roundtable Show can be heard via your computer or smartphone at www.swmsports.net or www.swms.com.

New this year, WNIL (1290 AM) has joined forces and will simulcast the Niles football games.

The first week of games includes Thursday night’s Buchanan game as the Bucks host Fennville at 7 p.m.

Niles will open on the road Friday night against Gull Lake, while Brandywine will host Lawrence in its season open. Both of those games are scheduled for 7 p.m. kickoffs.

Coverage for all games this season will begin with a pregame show at 6:45 p.m.
