Pool, softball tournament fundraisers planned for ‘Little Angels’ family

A pool tournament and raffle are planned Oct. 6 at the Roundtable Bar and Grill, 3024 Old U.S. 31, Niles, to benefit the family of crash victims Julianna Brown and Sophia True and their sister, Penelope True.

Kimi Gentry as well as Hollee Robbins-Schau, who worked with the girls’ mother at West Woods of Niles and is on a Roundtable pool league, are organizing the fundraiser.

Signup for the pool tournament begins at noon — two-person teams, APA rules, no limits on handicap. Cost is $20 per team and the public is welcome.

The Roundtable will also host a 50/50 raffle and regular prize raffle; tickets are $1 or six for $5.

Niles’ Hide-A-Way Lounge donated a Las Vegas trip for two for a raffle; tickets are $10 or three for $25.

The raffles will be held all day at Roundtable.

At least 50 percent of the proceeds from the tournament and 50/50 raffle will benefit the family. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the prize and trip raffles will go to the family.

For more information, call Kimi at (574) 532-2911 or Hollee at (269) 845-6002.
