Sister Lakes VBS runs June 24-28


Sister Lakes Community Church invites children ages 5-12, to attend its vacation Bible school, “Discovering God’s Plan for You.”

Sessions will be 9 a.m. to noon June 24-28 Students will be discovering God’s plan for their lives, as they study the life of Jesus paralleled with the life of Joseph, from Genesis. Stories, songs, contests, drills, memory work and games are woven together to give each student a fun-filled learning experience.

“In the midst of terrible problems and when things look their worst, God often is putting things together for our best,” said Dean Brown, VBS director. Brown is with RBM Ministries, headquartered in Kalamazoo. He also conducts the Released Time Bible Class program for Van Buren and Berrien County schools.

A pizza lunch and roller-skating party is planned from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. June 27. The week ends with a celebration picnic beginning at noon June 28. Everyone is welcome to join the students and applaud their achievement at the picnic.
