Unhappy with the results of Tuesday’s general election, two members of the LaRouche Political Action Committee attempted to spread their message of “impeaching President Barack Obama” Thursday afternoon in front of the Niles Post Office.

One man and one woman said they were representing LaRouche PAC, but both declined to give their names. The man said they were from Chicago and would be stopping in cities across the country to spread their message.

They put up signs reading, “pull over to impeach Obama” and “dump Obama.” One sign featured a picture of Obama with a “Hitler” mustache added to his likeness.

“Nov. 7 is a day that will live in infamy,” the man said. “As soon as the election goes Obama is no longer for women, black people, poor people — now he’s for war and cutting the budget. He wants us to cut $4 trillion or more, and he’s going to cut more than Republicans.”

The man warned what would happen if NATO declared a no-fly zone in Syria.

“It is an act of war,” he said. “So you are going to have war if Obama is in there. If Syria has a plane in their own territory, we knock it down and we fly in there.”

The LaRouche PAC is a group supporting a fringe movement created by serial presidential candidate Lyndon LaRouche. His followers believe Obama should be impeached and that Obama is involved in many conspiracies and cover-ups.
