Herman Cain coming to SW Michigan
Daily Star staff report
Former presidential candidate Herman Cain wasn’t lying when he endorsed Jack Hoogendyk for the 6th District congressional seat last week.
The former pizza mogul has announced he will campaign for Hoogendyk, a Kalamazoo Republican looking to dethrone the long-time incumbent Fred Upton.
Cain and Hoogendyk will make two stops in southwest Michigan April 5, according to a release from the Hoogendyk camp. A rally is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at a location to be announced in the Benton Harbor / St. Joseph area. Another stop will be made 7:30 p.m. in the Kalamazoo area.
