Crime Stoppers crime of the week: Lincoln Township robbery

This is Det. Sgt. Fred Laesch of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department for Crime Stoppers. The crime of the week comes from the files of the Lincoln Township Police Department.

On Feb. 17, 2013, in the area of S. Roosevelt Road, two unknown individuals came to the door of an elderly person’s residence. The individuals persuaded the homeowner to allow them to enter the residence. One suspect distracted the homeowner, while the other suspect stole items from the residence.

Crime Stoppers wants the person or persons responsible for this larceny of property will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
