Wins, not uniforms will impress me

The Detroit Lions announced that they will wear four different uniforms this coming season.

Who cares?

I certainly do not care if they wear their practice gear because unless the product is not better than it was last season then they might as well be putting makeup on a pig.

Detroit needs to be thinking more about the Xs and the Os rather than what color their socks are going to be for different games.

Instead of deciding to have stripes on their uniforms and helmets they should be figuring out how to improve the team.

A team that has not won a playoff game in 25 years and has not won a road playoff game in 60 years.

The Lions appear to have had another solid draft.

There is talent on this team, but something is missing. Something that translates into victories and wins in the postseason.

You want to put on a uniform this season, how about going back to the last time you won a playoff game and wear that uniform?

I would not let them take it off until that monkey is off their back.

So I do not want to hear anything about the dress code this season. All I want to hear about is how the front office, the coaching staff and the players are going to get their acts together and put a winner on the field.
