The 10th annual Chieftain Golf Outing will be held Thursday at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course.

This year, the Dowagiac Athletic Booster Club and the Dowagiac School Foundation will be honoring three organizations, who had been Gold Sponsors every year since 2004.

They are Wolverine Mutual Insurance Company, Southwestern Michigan College and Sodexo Food Services.

Those three companies, along with hundreds of golfers and other business sponsors have made the Chieftain Golf Invitational an annual event that participants look forward to.

There is still time to become a sponsor. There are four levels of tax deductible sponsorships available — Platinum, Gold, Scholarships, Silver and Bronze. For more information or to become a sponsor, contact Dowagiac Athletic Director Brent Nate at 782-8178 or by email at bnate@dowagiacschools.org.
