Rangers finish second at Linton Memorial

CASSOPOLIS – Host Cassopolis finished second at its own Steve Linton Memorial Saturday.

The Rangers went 3-1 on the day, losing only to the Niles “B” team , which won the tournament with a 4-0 mark.

Cassopolis defeated Kalamazoo Loy Norriz 44-36, Martin 48-31 and Eau Claire 52-24. The Rangers lost to the Vikings 43-32.

Going undefeated on the day for Cassopolis were Colin Kelley (103), Nick Baker (112) and Khalil Brown (119). Finishing the day at 3-1 were Brandon James (130), Zack Newton (160), Tymari Brown (189) and Mike Dussel (285).
