Parks seek public input on plan

CASSOPOLIS — Cass County Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a comment period on its Park and Recreation, Open Space and Greenway Plan from Monday through Feb. 13.

Written comments can be submitted by email to scottwy@cassco.org or by mail to 120 N. Broadway, Suite 209, Cassopolis, MI 49031.

Cass County Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing prior to its regular parks board meeting at 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 14.

At this meeting, the public will have an opportunity to give oral and/or written comments concerning the plan.

The plan will be available for viewing during regular business hours at the Cass County Parks and Recreation main office, 120 N. Broadway, Suite 209, Cassopolis; Cass District Library, 319 M-62, Cassopolis; Edwardsburg Branch Library, 26745 Church St., Edwardsburg; Howard Branch Library, 2341 Yankee St., Niles; Dowagiac District Library, 211 Commercial St., Dowagiac; and Marcellus Township Library, 211 E. Main St., Marcellus.
