2 charged with making meth in Mason Twp.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team reports that Tuesday, Sept. 6 in the 19,000 block of U.S. 12 in Mason Township, two subjects were arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine. Detectives from the drug team along with agents from parole and probation conducted an investigation into meth at a residence. Investigators located multiple used “one-pot”-style meth labs, meth components, drug paraphernalia and meth inside the residence.
Police arrested two adults at the scene. One male and one female were taken into custody and lodged at the Cass County Jail for manufacturing meth, producing hazardous waste, possession of meth and maintaining a drug house. The male subject was on parole for a meth-related conviction.
This matter remains under investigation.
