Carol L. Smith, 65

Carol L. Smith, age 65, of Niles, passed away Wed. Jan. 8, 2014 in Elkhart General Hospital.

Carol was born July 7, 1948 in Paw Paw, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Novak) Docekal. She was formerly employed by Premier Tool and Die in Berrien Springs.

Survivors include a son Richard (Mary) Smith of Niles, five grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a sister, Dolores Good of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Frank Docekal and Thomas Docekal.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Arrangements by Newell Funeral Home, Decatur.
