Novotny speaking at Penn Friends Church

The public is invited Saturday to a free, interactive, fun workshop at Penn Friends Church, entitled, “Know God More.”

Any free-will offerings at the end of the workshop will be used for Penn’s church Youth and Missions.

“We are ordinary people, you and I,” Carla Jo Novotny said, “we are astounded by the greatness of G-d. So amazing.  So holy. And yet we have been invited by his first and greatest commandment to love G-d with all of our being. He wants to develop a mature personal relationship with us, something intimate that G-d calls us to in scripture to be higher and deeper, wider and longer, closer and closer, to Him.

“So, we have set aside this time to try new study options together. We can love G-d more by knowing G-d more.”

Come to the church Saturday and bring a glue ink pen and yellow highlighter (optional). Handbook and meal will be provided.

Penn Friends is located at 19107 Quaker St. at the corner of Penn and Quaker streets north of the intersection of Penn Road and M-60 (with Calvin Center Road to the South) between Cassopolis and Vandalia.
