Shelton scores nine in Calvin victory
GRAND RAPIDS — The Calvin College women’s basketball team improved to 7-3 on the season with a 111-62 victory over Marygrove Friday night.
Former Brandywine standout MacKenzie Shelton was 3-of-4 from 3-point range and scored nine points for the Knights. She also handed out a team-high four assists and had a steam in playing 20 minutes.
Through 10 games, Shelton is averaging 3.1 points per game with 11 assists and five steals. She is averaging 11.6 minutes per contest and shooting 8-of-19 from 3-point range (42 percent).
