Motorcycle ride to benefit local disaster relief

Berrien County Riders will host its 11th Annual Ride to Remember Our Fallen Heroes Sunday, Sept. 11 at noon at the Berrien County Courthouse.
The ride circles through Berrien and Cass counties. All proceeds benefit the American Red Cross Berrien County Chapter for local disaster relief.
The guest speaker this year will be U.S. Rep. Fred Upton. The Royalton Township Fire Department has offered to mount the beam from the World Trade Center currently located at the American Red Cross office in St. Joseph on its pumper truck and take it on the ride so that everyone in the communities along the route can view the piece.
All motorcycles are welcome.
Registration will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $15; checks may be made payable to the American Red Cross.
The courthouse is located at the corner of Main and Port streets in St. Joseph.
