Al and Sharon Mott

Al and Sharon (Toy) were married Nov. 23, 1963, in Pokagon Methodist Church. They settled in a beautiful country setting just north of Cassopolis to raise their children.

Al worked at various van conversion and motor home manufactures, retiring from Georgie Boy Manufacturing in 2005.

During the last 50 years Al has also played music professionally with the Alley Cats, the Counts, the Brotherhood and as a “one man band” since the 1980s.

Sharon worked various jobs including Simplicity Pattern and Pierson Orchards Market before retiring in 2006 from DeMond’s Supermarket as the produce manager. Sharon also had a full-time job traveling and supporting Al wherever he played music.

Al and Sharon are kind, caring and give to others in so many ways that it can’t be put into words. They have been blessed to be together for 50 years and we have been blessed to be a part of their lives.

They are enjoying their retirement by spending time with their family and friends. If you see Al and Sharon please congratulate them on their amazing 50 years together.

They have two children, John (Wendy) Mott of South Bend and Theresa Mott of Cassopolis; five grandchildren, Bailey, Elli and Collin Mott of South Bend and Matthew and Chelsea Lapham of Cassopolis; and one great-grandchild, Amberlynn Davies.
