Winchester-Jones, Razzano named to BCAM’s Best

A pair of Cass County seniors have been named to the Class B BCAM’s Best squad, which is selected by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan.

Dowagiac’s Brandon Winchester-Jones was named first team all-state, while Edwardsburg’s Dante Razzano was a Class B honorable mention selection.

Both players dealt with injuries during the season as Winchester-Jones suffered a broken nose just prior to the start of the state tournament, while Razzano was sidelined for several weeks with an elbow injury.

Another Wolverine Conference player, South Haven’s Dashaan Palmer, a junior, was an honorable mention selection as well.

Coloma’s Zach Goodline, a freshmen, was also a Class B honorable mention pick.

Bridgman senior Nick Knowlton was an honorable mention selection in Class C.

Selections for BCAM’s Best of the Best were Corey Allen of Ypsilanti Community, Aquavious Burks of Flint Beecher, Austin Davis of Onsted, Jermaine Jackson of Macomb Dakota, Brandon Johns of East Lansing, Spencer Littleton of Rochester Adams, Isaiah Livers of Kalamazoo Central, Karmari Newman of Detroit E. English, Billy Thomas of North Farmington and Cassius Winston of U-D Jesuit.

Jackson and Livers are juniors, while Johns is a sophomore.
