Dentist joins Cassopolis Family Clinic Dental

Maritza Salvo-Reyes, D.D.S. has recently joined the staff of Cassopolis Family Clinic Dental.

Dr. Salvo-Reyes, originally from Santiago, Chile, received her doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Concepcion, in Concepcion, Chile. To validate her degree in the U.S., she then obtained her dental hygiene license from Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and doctorate of dental surgery at the University of Colorado.
Prior to her career at Cassopolis Family Clinic Network (CFCN), Salvo-Reyes was a general dentist at Help a Child Smile in Georgia. With a personal mission to provide gentle and caring dentistry for her patients, she brings more than 20 years of experience to CFCN.
As a licensed dental hygienist and a licensed dentist, Salvo-Reyes is looking forward to her career at CFCN.
“Obtaining both licenses has proven to be really useful, for now I can better understand the needs and goals of my hygienists which will allow us to become a better team and provide the best possible care for our patients,” Salvo-Reyes said. Salvo-Reyes began seeing patients in March at the dental clinic located in the Cassopolis Family Clinic facility at 261 M-62 North in Cassopolis.
“To me dentistry is a call to service that cannot be limited due to resources, it is not a business, it is a commitment to help,” she said. “We give the same great attention to everyone, and do the best with the resources that we have.”
Cassopolis Family Clinic Dental is open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The dental clinic accepts Medicaid (Delta Dental, MI CHILD, & Healthy Kids, Meridian, McLaren and United Health Care) and people who do not have dental insurance.
Outreach and Enrollment Specialists are available on site to assist in enrollment for Medicaid and health coverage through the Affordable Care Act Health Insurance Marketplace during open enrollment.
