Mandi Kai Greenfield, 37, of Cassopolis, died early Wednesday morning, March 2, 2016, in the presence of her family in her residence.

She was born March 24, 1978, in Berrien Springs, Michigan. She married Kurt Daniel Greenfield Oct. 17, 2003, in Cassopolis, Michigan. He survives. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Thorn; maternal grandparents, Fred and Marjorie Cantrell, Edward and Clara Thorn; paternal grandparents, James and Addie Greenfield, John and Thelma Sabo; and father in law, Daniel Greenfield.

Mandi will be remembered for her heart and her smile. She loved her children more than anything and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her children’s friends. She was the neighborhood Mom.

Mandi will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Kurt Greenfield of Cassopolis; one daughter, Hailey Jo Greenfield; two sons, Zachary Greenfield, Austin James Greenfield; her mother, Kaye Rogers of Taswell, Tennessee; her father, Thomas (wife, Pat) Thorn of St. Joseph, Michigan; four sisters, Stacy Kandlstorfer of Taswell, Tennessee, Missy Kandlstorfer of Hartford, Michigan, Chrissy Thorn Mintun of South Bend, Indiana, twin Sherri (fiance’ Phillip Miles) Graham of Elkhart; one brother, Thomas (wife, Jennifer) Thorn of Boston, Massachusetts; her mother in law, Debra J. Greenfield of Cassopolis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at a date and time to be announced for a time of telling stories and sharing memories.
