Jerri Sayer, 68, of Niles, passed away at her home on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.

Jerri was born on May 27, 1947, to Jerome and Leona (Grossman) Young in Niles, Michigan. After graduating from high school Jerri went on to attend Ferris State University. Jerri retired, after many years, from Creative Foam in Dowagiac. Jerri loved to spend time photographing nature, especially sunsets at Lake Michigan. She was also an avid NASCAR fan and has many scrapbooks of the hundreds of country music concerts that she attended.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome and longtime friend, Cathy Marie Sayer.

Jerri is survived by her mother, Leona Young; daughters, Cathy (Allen) Kujawa of Niles and Stephenie (Alex) Nasser of Elkhart, Indiana; grandchildren, April, Andrew, and Kelsey Moore and Lyndsey and Dillon Kujawa; siblings, Bill (Kim Cook) Young of Niles and Theresa Young of Niles; and many extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles at noon with a time of visitation two hours prior.
