PARCHMENT — Visiting Brandywine needed overtime to stay in the thick of the BCS Athletic Conference Blue Division championship race.

The Bobcats outscored host Parchment 11-7 in overtime to earn a 65-61 win over the Panthers Friday night.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Brandywine, which is tied for first place with Bridgman in the Blue Division.

The Bobcats (12-5, 6-2 Blue) will attempt to lock up at least a share of the championship when it travels to Comstock Thursday night.

Parchment led at the end of the first, second and third quarters, but could not hold off Brandywine in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Trailing 42-36 heading into the final eight minutes of regulation, the Bobcats outscored the Panthers 18-12 to knot the score at 54-54 after four quarters.
