Four people were hospitalized following a head-on collision on M-60 in LaGrange Township Monday night, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident occurred at 10:19 p.m. on M-60 near Mullen Road.

A red Ford Escape driven by Densel Johnson, 71, of Buchanan,with passenger Lynn Johnson, 68, of Buchanan, was traveling east on M-60.

A red Ford pickup driven by Bryan Hamman, 29, of Niles, with passenger Crystal Simpson, 31, of Niles, was heading west on M-60.

Police said the pickup lost control and crossed the centerline, striking the east bound Escape head on.

All parties involved in the crash were transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital. Assisting at the scene was the Michigan State Police Niles Post, Cassopolis Fire Department, Lifecare ambulance, Edwardsburg ambulance and Cassopolis Police Department.
