Thrill on the Hill a success

A brief warm spell did not dampen the excitement for the many people who visited downtown Buchanan for the city’s annual Thrill on the Hill event Friday and Saturday.
Children of all ages — and adults too — hopped on tubes and slid down the snow-covered Front Street hill, which was closed to traffic for the occasion.
The event featured three hills of varying sizes so everyone could enjoy the day no matter how young or old.
Now in its fifth year, the Thrill on the Hill brings in thousands of people to discover all the city has to offer, including its many shops and restaurants.
