Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week: Niles woman robbed at gunpoint

The Niles Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of N. 12th St., in Niles, in regards to an armed robbery at a residence at approximately 7:48 a.m. Jan. 19.

An unknown male subject knocked on the door of the residence and when the homeowner opened the door, the suspect forced his way into the residence and robbed the homeowner of money at gunpoint.

Crime Stoppers wants the person responsible for this armed robbery and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
