Michael Kachur is a junior on the Brandywine wrestling team.

What has been one of your greatest accomplishments as an athlete?

MK: Being a regional qualifier.

What has been one of your biggest disappointments as an athlete?

MK: Losing in the blood round at regionals.

What has been a hardship in your life?

MK: Losing at regionals.

Who is a “hero” in your life and why?

MK: My dad.

When are you the most nervous while you are competing?

MK: Before the match.

Describe an embarrassing athletic moment.

MK: One time I was puked on in a match.

How do you tend to workout/train when by yourself?

MK: I run a lot to lose weight.

What other sport would you like to compete in if you were not playing yours?

MK: Motocross.

Who would you say is your “biggest fan?” Why?

MK: My grandpa.

How would you give away $50,000?

MK: I would give $50,000 to the breast cancer foundation because my grandma is a survivor.

If you could be the head coach of a team for a year, what team would you choose?

MK: I would be the head coach of the Brandywine girls basketball team because I want to be like Josh Hood.

If I did not play sports, I would…?

MK: Work for my dad.

What is the most challenging thing for you to do in your sport?

MK: Losing weight.

If you could change one rule about your sport, what would it be?

MK: You could lock hands.

What is the best compliment you have ever received?

MK: I’m the best looking individual in the world.

What was the scariest thing you have had to do? Are you glad you did it?

MK: Ride in the school van with Tony Holt.

What was the last thing you saw someone do that really impressed you?

MK: Tony Holt walking on his hands.

What is your favorite hobby? Why?

MK: Riding dirt bikes.
