Clara ‘Mother Mae’ Sisk, of Niles

Clara “Mother Mae” Sisk, 64 of Niles, Michigan passed away at 12:20 a.m. Dec. 19, 2015, at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Clara was born in Plymouth, Indiana to the late Edgar and Nellie Lowery. She married the love of her life Walter “Rusty” E Sisk, Jr. on Sept. 3, 1972. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2003. Clara loved being with her family friends. She was a devoted mother, grandma and sister. Clara was loved by all that knew her and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Davis of Niles; brother, Floyd Kuntz, Jr. of Niles; sons, David (Rachel) Sisk stationed in Ansbach, Germany and Edgar Sisk of Denver Colorado; daughters, Spring Sisk of Niles and Juanita (Steve) Sadler of Niles; several grandchildren and great children.

In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 603 N. 17th St., Niles, Michigan 49120. Memorial contributions may be made to Juanita Sadler to help with final expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
