Phyllis Jean Bowling, 84, of Niles, Michigan, passed away on Oct. 22, 2015, at her home in Palmetto, Florida.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1930, to Clayton and Alien Boht.
Phyllis was a 1949 graduate of Niles High School and a lifelong seamstress.
She was a member of the Niles Moose Lodge No. 978 and a lifetime member of the Niles Eagles No. 2094.
Phyllis is survived by her three children, Robert (Tammy) Bowling, Jr., of Niles; Frank (Hazel) Bowling, of Niles; Rhonda Bird, of Spring Lake, Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Robert Bowling, Sr., second husband Frank Zimmerman, brother Robert Boht, half sister Hellen Lede and granddaughter Errikka Bowling.
The services for Phyllis will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 12, 2015, at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens with a luncheon to follow at the Niles Moose Lodge No. 978 on M-51.
