Greensboro, North Carolina — Vicky Sue Hood Burgess, 60, passed away on Dec. 1, 2015, at Wesley Long Community Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at the Forbis and Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel with Robert and Marilyn Rankin officiating.

Mrs. Burgess was born in Niles, Michigan on June 24, 1955, to William Ray Hood and Alta Low Hood.
Vicky is survived by her husband Gary Joe Burgess, daughters Elizabeth Burgess-Pruitt (Timothy) and Vicki Jo Burgess, her Mother and Father, her sister Regina Wolfe, her brother Alan Hood, grandchildren, Tiffany, Kameron and Jalen as well as her many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel.
