Krush Spiker League hosting ‘Championship Saturday’

There will be 44 teams competing in the Krush Spiker League’s “championship Saturday.”

The spiker league consists of two age divisions — third and fourth and fifth and sixth.

There are 22 teams in each division. Participating teams are from Cassopolis, Dowagiac, Brandywine, Lakeshore, Bridgman and Mishawaka.

Players for Krush teams are made up from players from Buchanan, Niles, Edwardsburg, River Valley, South Bend, Penn and Elkhart.

Action begins at 8 a.m. with championship matches set for 6 p.m.

Admission is $1 for adults. Children 16 and under are free.
