To all who voted in the Nov. 3 school bond election:

To our “yes” voters — thanks very much for your votes!

To our “no” voters — we heard you and understand that you had concerns.  We respect your opinion.

For all of you who voted —  either or “yes” and “no” — I and the other board members will work hard to make sure that these bond dollars are used most efficiently to benefit all of our students, their families, our community and our school district’s employees.

I want to commend Superintendent Paul Hartsig for his dedication to the bond cause and to thank our community volunteers who worked extremely hard in support of our students and community.

This is an exciting time for all of us!

I’ll leave you with a quote from a community member last week after all of the votes were counted:

“I’m so happy. I’m so proud of our community. It’s a good day to be a Chieftain!”
