M. Patricia “Pat” Hosek, 74, of Union Pier, Michigan passed away peacefully at home on Fri., Nov. 6, 2015, with her family by her side. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sommerfeld Chapel, New Buffalo, Michigan. The family has requested memorial donations be directed to Hospice At Home in Pat’s name. M. Patricia “Pat” Hosek
Pat was born to the late Cornelius and Ann (Daniuk) Curran on Jan. 23, 1941, in Bensenville, Illinois. On Nov. 25, 1987, she married Ray Hosek in Chicago, Illinois. Pat possessed a witty sense of humor, was an avid reader, enjoyed time with her dogs and spent countless hours devoting herself to games and activities with her granddaughters.
Pat is survived by her beloved husband — Ray Hosek of Union Pier; daughter Deborah Martyniuk of Niles; granddaughters — Nikki (Kyle) Roberts and Holley Martyniuk both of Niles; brothers William Curran of Illinois, Daniel (Diane) Curran of N. Carolina, Connie (Jeanine) Curran of Wisconsin and James (Kathy) Curran of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Patrick Curran.
