The Miss/Mr. Edwardsburg Youth Scholarship Pageant will be at the Edwardsburg Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. Saturday.

This year’s theme is “Greatest Hits of the 1950s.” Tickets will be available at the door for $15 for adults and $5 for students.

The Miss/Mr. Edwardsburg Youth Scholarship Program is a community service program that strives to assist in individual social development and leadership qualities through mentoring. The program philosophy is that “everyone is a winner.”

Organizers encourage Edwardsburg youth to inquire about the program and get involved. They will learn about giving back to the community and giving selflessly.

They visit programs like the The Kroc Center Mentoring Day, local community service events and take part in the Blossomtime Festival.

They will also get to build and ride on the Edwardsburg community float in local parades and so more.

This program is open for our youth ages 5 to 19 years old. Miss/Mr. Contestants winners are awarded valuable Scholarships. This year’s queen will receive a scholarship for $1,000.
