First United Methodist Church would like to thank the 110 volunteers who came out for National “Make a Difference Day” on Saturday, Oct. 24.

It was especially touching to have so many families and youth participate. Thanks to their 350-plus hours of volunteer service, 12 service projects were completed in Buchanan.

We would also like to thank all the organizations that put together and led projects including: City of Buchanan, Buchanan Community Schools, Redbud Area Ministries, Buchanan Garden Club, P.L.A.Y. in Buchanan, Buchanan District Library, and Scarecrow Charities.
