Sally J. Clawson, 65, of Springfield, passed away peacefully, Tuesday morning, Oct. 27, 2015, at Brookdale at Buck Creek following several years of failing health.

She was born in Dowagiac, Michigan on April 11, 1950, the daughter of the late Harry and Georgia (Morford) Zablocki.

Sally attended Northridge United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two children, Tammy Clawson (Dwayne Snyder) of Urbana and Michael (Melissa) Clawson of Springfield; five grandchildren, Kearston P. Layne, Bradley Clawson, Drew Clawson, Jordan Clawson, and Carly Clawson; siblings, Phillip Zablocki (Sherry Cartwright) of California, Tom Zablocki (Sue Pool) of Michigan, her twin sister, Susan (Dan) Maness of Michigan, and Sharon (Braxton) Dodd of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are extended family members, Sue and Keith Terry, Matthew and Kristi Terry and Bryan and Sharon Stonerock.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale G. Clawson in 1998.

Sally’s funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Woode officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. You may express condolences to the family at www.littletonandrue
