Police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy in Benton Harbor.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Anthony Walker, 18, of Benton Harbor, can call the Benton Township Police Department at (269) 925-1135 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 342-7867.

According to the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office, charges have been issued stemming from the death of Karlos Kelly, 17, of Benton Harbor, on Oct. 22 in the Blossom Lane neighborhood in Benton Township. Anthony Walker and Seddrick Williams, both 18 and both of Benton Harbor, have been charged with first-degree murder, a life offense.

It is alleged that both Walker and Williams drove to Blossom Lane looking for the victim, Karlos Kelly, intending to kill him. Upon seeing Kelly, Walker exited the vehicle, shot Kelly with a shotgun, and fled with Williams in Williams’ car, the prosecutor’s office said in a press release.

Seddrick Williams is in custody and was arraigned Tuesday before Judge Charles LaSata. Williams’ bond was set at $2 million.

The Benton Township Police Department and the multi-agency Berrien County Homicide Task Force investigated the case.

A third suspect, Daquantaries Williams, 18, of Benton Harbor, alleged to be the driver of the suspect vehicle, was arrested in South Bend, Indiana, Wednesday morning, and has been charged with first degree murder, the prosecutor’s office said.
