Delores M. Carter, 81, of Niles entered the arms of Jesus Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at West Woods of Niles.

Delores was born Sept. 29, 1934, in McCrory, Arkansas, to the late William and Jewel Matlock. On Sept. 30, 1949, she married Norm Carter at a ceremony in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Norm; daughters, Ann (Bob) Kish, and Billie (Daryl) Snow; son, Marcus (Changsoon) Carter; sisters, Dorlan (Wayne) Johnson and LaDonna McDaniel; grandchildren, Johnna (Mike) Miller, Amie (Mike) McGuire, Daniel (Amanda) Snow, Larison Snow, Corey (Jamie) Carter and Casey Carter and 10 great grandchildren.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jewel and her brother in law Bobby McDaniel.

Funeral Services for Delores will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The family appreciates the two years of care received from Grace Hospice.
