Arnold A. Glynn, 85, of Dowagiac, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, Michigan with Reverend Gerald Bushnell officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cass County Council on Aging in his memory. Arnold was born on Jan. 6, 1930, in Chicago, to Louis and Catherine (Seide) Glynn. He married the former Janet Pond in Dowagiac, on Nov. 11, 1950, they would have celebrated 65 years of marriage this year. Arnold retired from Sundstrand after 28 1/2 years of working as a maintenance man. He enjoyed being in the great outdoors, whether it was gardening, hunting or taking his grandson fishing.

Arnold is survived by his wife Janet, a son; Terry (Deanna) Glynn of Dowagiac, two grandchildren; Jennifer (Carlos) Martinez of Benton Harbor and Scott (Theresa) Glynn of Dowagiac, five great-grandchildren; Charles & Allison Martinez, Nathan & Lucas Glynn and Triston Jiles, two brothers; John (Shirley) Glynn of Florida and Richard (Audrey) Glynn of Decatur and a sister Iris Cain.

Arnold was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Clyde, Doug and Rodger; and two sisters, Phyllis and Charlotte.
