Berrien County 4-H to host 5K, open house

The Berrien County 4-H Youth Program is hosting a 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Michigan State University Extension Office and Research Center, which is located at 1737 Hillandale Road, Benton Harbor.

The race begins at 10 a.m. with onsite registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

Focusing on the Health of our community, the program’s goal is to reinforce healthy living while having fun.

The 5K is happening in conjunction with the Berrien County 4-H Fall Open House that will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. During this event, everyone is welcome to participate in 4-H project demonstrations, games, face painting and more.

There will also be information on how to join a 4-H club in your community.
