NILES, Mich. — The Niles Scream Park is hosting a wedding event on Saturday, Oct. 3, and everyone is invited to join the festivities. Vowing to rot together throughout eternity, “Death” and “Sophia,” the undead bride, will wed in the best spoof fashion.

Events will start at 8 p.m. on the midway of the Niles Scream Park and continue throughout the evening. Entry is free and all are welcome. There will be ghastly vows, black rice to throw, wicked cake to eat and a “first dance” led by Niles’ Positively Dance troup. The bridal party will be available for pictures. For the past couple of months, Death and Sophia have been appearing together at events such as the South Bend Zombie Walk, the Plymouth Blueberry Festival, the Paw Paw Wine and Harvest Festival and will appear this Saturday, Oct. 3, in the Niles Apple Festival Parade.

Open weekends until Oct. 31, plus Thursday, Oct. 29, the Scream Park is located on Mayflower Road in Niles, Michigan. The Park is easily accessed by taking Exit 5 (Niles-Buchanan Road) from the US-31 Expressway.
