The Dowagiac soccer team lost its second straight Wolverine Conference match as visiting Allegan scored a 5-1 win Monday.

Dowagiac’s lone goal came on a penalty kick by Gage Williams in the second half.

The Tigers led 2-0 after 40 minutes of play.

“We were unable to control the game and their counter attacks in the second half,” Dowagiac coach Mike Williams said.

The win improved Allegan’s record to 10-4-1.
