Visiting Sturgis defeated Edwardsburg 7-1 in a highly competitive Wolverine Conference tennis match Monday.

Three of the four doubles flights were decided in three sets with several games being decided by a tiebreaker.

The Eddies’ lone victory came at No. 2 doubles where Dylan Layher and Kev’on Taylor defeated Mate Belote and Scott Smith 6-0, 6-7 and 7-5.
