Wiese, Bobcats continue to run over opponents

ST. JOSEPH — The Brandywine Bobcats rushed for 391 yards in handing host Lake Michigan Catholic at 57-18 BCS Athletic Conference loss Friday night.

Jeshua Wiese did most of the damage, rushing for 207 yards on 21 carries and scoring four touchdowns.

Wiese scored on runs of 9, 8, 3 and 10 yards.

Vinny Peel was 3-for-3 passing, including a 15-yard scoring strike to Austin Knapp.

Knapp also returned an interception 65 yards for a score.

Brandon Hatch had touchdown runs of 1 and 35 yards, as well as scoring a 2-point conversion.

Corbin Eckenberger led the defense with 12 tackles and an interception. M.J. Gorja finished with 11 tackles.

Wiese now has rushed for 488 yards in three games.
