The Dowagiac volleyball team was swept by visiting Three Rivers 3-0 Thursday in Wolverine Conference action.

The Wildcats defeated the Chieftains 25-20, 25-17 and 25-23.

“It was a tough los tonight, but the girls fought hard with the rallies we had with Three Rivers,” Dowagiac coach Rachel Zeider said. “Natalie (Davis) had a bunch of great digs tonight along with Annie with a great block.”

Davis finished with 11 digs and Ennesser five blocks.

Dowagiac also got seven kills from both Ennesser and Taylor Hulett, as well as 14 digs from Hannah Whitaker. Hulett added six digs.

Kassidy Binns had a pair of aces for the Chieftains.
