STURGIS — Niles’ Jessica Tompos was the talk of the Sturgis Invitational Tuesday.
The Niles senior recorded a hole-in-one at Klinger Lake Country Club.
Tompos aced the 108-yard sixth hole using a 6-iron.
She finished with a 125 as the Vikings placed ninth out of 10 teams Tuesday.
Host Sturgis was the team champion. Niles shot 491 as a team.
Elizabeth Clark led the Vikings with a 105, while Emma Durm shot 122 and Michelle Crouch 139.
Also playing Tuesday were Aynslee Myer (141) and Katie Bruckner (149).
